The Nissan GT-R needs no introduction, especially the R35 generation with its Porsche 911 turbo killing potency. When Nissan first released the GT-R in 2007 globally it concluded a six year development program and a full year of testing, to the acclaim of journalists, enthusiasts and cult fanatics around the world.

With its all-wheel-drive ATTESA system, 485 horsepower motor mated to a dual-clutch transmission with launch control, it featured technology that had not been adopted in road cars before. As a result its acceleration was other worldly especially its ability to a accelerate from a standing start. Nothing in the world matched its ability at the time. Much like the Porsche 959 did with its release in 1986, with examples now commanding seven figure sums.

This Australian delivered example has been caught in a “time capsule” - having been on display with the former Gosford Classic Car Museum as the representative of the “Nissan GT-R”. Following the museum’s closure in 2019, the car entered a private collection where it remained in immaculate condition until being released for public sale now.
