Your Opportunity: To own a stunning V12 Ferrari at an affordable price point. This is Ferrari’s first official automatic supercar with 4 seats and a top speed of 150mph (240kph) that could sprint to 100km in just 7.1 seconds (remember, that was 1977). With a total production of 502 units, 355 were automatics and 147 manual transmission vehicles, these classic supercars have become very desirable in today’s collector car market as they represent excellent value.

The 400GT is equipped with a 4.8 litre V12 that produces 340 hp (254kW). The induction of this engine is spectacular with 6 side-draft Weber carburettors, what a sound to be cherished!

This vehicle was originally delivered in Leicester UK on 12/1977 and was serviced regularly according to the original Ferrari service book right through to 06/1983. Whist in June 1982 the engine was rebuilt by Chapman Spoon Ltd in West Midlands UK. The first presence in Australia according to this book is 09/1986 in Southport Queensland. From 10/2018 to the present day, this Ferrari has had over $40k spent to bring maintenance up-to-date, with the brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust and comprehensive engine tune which included overhauling the distributors and the six Weber carburettors. The car starts easily and sounds very healthy,

As with any classic supercar, keeping one in top condition is paramount and somewhat like the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it never ends but these appreciating assets deserve it. In saying that, this car could do with some cosmetic improvements depending on whether you wish to use it or admire it. With the recent work, this car is ready to drive!
